A delegation from the University of Cyprus, the coordinating organisation of the PHAETHON Teaming project visited the University of Groningen (UG) this month, between 6 and 13 June 2024, for a series of Institutional Trainings organised by the latter in their capacity as an advanced partner of the project.
The PHAETHON Teaming Project 2nd Coordination and Management Meeting took place in Cyprus on 26 March 2024, welcoming representatives from the partner institutions at the facilities of the University of Cyprus (UCY) for a full day of presentations and discussion on the progress of the project implementation and the way forward.

A delegation from the FOSS Research Centre of the University of Cyprus (UCY) and Cyprus Seeds visited the two PHAETHON project advanced partners, between 27 and 30 November 2023, within the framework of the project’s technology transfer and best-practice exchange on the way towards establishing the PHAETHON Centre of Excellence.
Professor Panos Papanastasiou was an invited speaker at this year’s Cyprus Energy Symposium, delivering a presentation on PHAETHON CoE, the newest Centre of Excellence to be inaugurated in Cyprus that aims to serve as a catalyst for excellence in the energy field, focusing on the development of solutions and applications that can address a wide range of contemporary global energy challenges.
The High-Level Kick-Off Ceremony for the Teaming for Excellence Project PHAETHON took place on 11 October 2023 at the University of Cyprus (UCY).
The first official project meeting for the Teaming for Excellence Project PHAETHON took place on 12 October 2023 at the University of Cyprus, bringing together all Project beneficiaries and REA representatives.
